Project Overview:

Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport, as one of the top 100 airports in the world, is the first modern international airport with marine, land and air multimode transport in China. Shenzhen Farad Electric has kept close cooperation with Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport since 1998, and supplied the overall solutions covering the whole airport’s power system, including supply of primary equipment and secondary equipment, construction, installation and maintenance of the project, repair of failures and automation monitoring etc; the solutions include electrical engineering of 110kV transformer substation of the airport, transformation project for power supplying system of the terminal, the power supply automation monitoring and energy management system of the terminal area, the intelligent lighting control system of terminal and apron, the LED lighting and intelligent lighting control system in the airfield and airport boundary, as well as the power supply project of the airport’s logistic area and Fuyong Terminal. In 2011, Farad also undertook the project for power monitoring system and energy system, as well as electric fire alarm system of T3 terminal of Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport.

Project Characteristics:

★The T3 terminal project of Shenzhen Airport is the major construction project of Shenzhen. Farad provided power monitoring and energy management system and electric fire alarm system for dozens of substations of T3 terminal, which has ensured the reliability, safety, stability and continuity of the terminal’s power supply system.

★The first and second general power distribution stations of Shenzhen Airport are core of the whole power system of the airport with the voltage grade up to 110kV, Farad is keeping to provide services in supply and installation of equipment, project construction and maintenance, failure recovery and integrated automation monitoring of the substation, which has effectively ensured reliable all-weather power supply for the airport.

Solutions:

★Farad provided one-stop services including supply, installation, maintenance, failure recovery and automation monitoring of HV equipment of the power supply system.

★ Adopting optical fiber Ethernet, layered and distributed network architecture, including master station layer, communication layer, spacer layer, to respectively centralized management, communication processing and data collection functions. 

★ Achieving integrated automation of the substation, monitoring of MV and LV distribution automation monitoring and energy management, as well as networked electric fire alarm etc.

★Adopting KNX bus lighting system with green LED lighting equipment.
