The Automation Project at Container Terminal in Yantian Port Area of Shenzhen Port
The container terminal in Yantian Port Area of Shenzhen Port is the largest processing and manufacturing base in the world (PRD and the important collection point of international trades). It also is the main container hub port in Hong Kong with extremely high requirements on power stability and continuity.
Our Company participated in power transformer and distribution construction of Yantian Port Area since 2002, from the project of only 50 thousand Yuan to the accumulated contract amount of over 0.2 billion Yuan, in recent years, through joint efforts of Farad people, Farad has cooperated more than tens of projects with the port. From phase I of distribution project for storage yard transformation, Phase I and Phase II transformation projects for power monitoring, phase III distribution project of refrigerated container storage yard, the distribution equipment of Phase III expansion project and construction of the distribution monitoring system to electromechanical contracting project of container terminal in west area of Yantian Port, the construction of Phase III expansion distribution equipment and distribution monitoring system; from the automation system works, distribution box project, remote control of high-pole lamp, automatic LV switching, to installation of imitation panel and electricity expansion; from drawing design, selection of equipment, supervision manufacturing of the equipment to project construction, our Company won the customer’s sincere trust and high evaluation with our high-efficient, high-quality, timely, considerate and accurate services in each project and each procedure. The staff of our Company who participated in the construction has won the “Immediate Prize “issued by Yantian Port Area for many times.
The Project of Transformation and Distribution for Phase I Storage Yard
The automatic lighting control system of storage yard is specially developed by our Company for the project, the system is capable of monitoring and controlling the operation of high-pole lamps of the storage yard in the central control room, and controlling on/off of the high-pole lamp, it can also set self-control program of on/off every day to achieve unmanned management. The system not only individually control the lamps on the high-pole lamp, it can also control lamp group to save lighting costs of the storage yard.
The Transformation Project for Phase II Power Monitoring
It is the transformation project for monitoring of substation independently designed and constructed by our Company with high construction difficulties since the construction was promoted when 12 substations are live. The project is capable of monitoring the operation state of each HV and LV circuits within the 12 substations can be monitored in the central control room and each transformer substation, the project can achieve automatic switching of standby circuit of HV incoming line switch, as well as remote switching of LV main incoming line, thus improving quality of power operation and ensuring safety of power operation.
The Project of Distribution Equipment and Power Supply Monitoring System in Phase III Expansion Engineering
The total area of phase III expansion project in Yantian Port was 1.364 million square meters with the total investment reaching 7billion Yuan, the electrical load is 0.15million KW. Including 6 special berths for container vessels and container storage yard, the project was planned to complete construction in 2010. Two berths have been completed and put into production in September 2006. The total coastal line length of the terminal is 3297m, which can be used for installation of 30 sets of wharf side cranes and 120 sets of gantry cranes, and the terminal is capable of parking large container ships with 8000 standard containers and above.
In bidding with several bidders, our Company has finally won the bid in Yantian Port Area due to our excellent performance and good reputation, and the bid value was up to 0.12 billion Yuan. Farad undertook the monitoring system for power supply and distribution and installation of all electrical equipment and facilities as the general contractor.
